Estero Fire Rescue Gives Back

Members of the Estero Fire Rescue Firefighter Charity Calendar gave big last night.  Firefighters joined members of Partners for Breast Cancer Care at their monthly meeting to present a check to them in the amount of $7,500.00, proceeds from the first annual Estero Fire Rescue Charity Calendar.

“It was truly an honor to work with such a great organization” stated Firefighter Fred Gonzalez.  “We are proud to be a partner with Partners for Breast Cancer Care.”  Gonzalez along with Firefighter Eliel Blanco headed up the project, which was the first time a firefighter calendar had been produced from Estero Fire Rescue.
 
Partners for Breast Cancer Care is a local organization that provides funding for Lee County residents who are without health insurance and are in need of diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer.  Each year, PfBCC screens over 2,000 Lee County residents, providing services for most of them
