AED:

Automated External Defibrilation

More and more businesses and communities are realizing the importance of having an Automated External Defibrillator on the premises. But the device doesn't do any good if no one knows how to use it.

Estero Fire Rescue teaches the proper use of AED's along with the knowledge and performance of adult CPR and airway management. Students registering for this course would be individuals required by employment to respond to medical emergencies with an AED. 

A fee of $20 per person is required to cover the cost of the instructor and course supplies. This two-year certification is instructed by AHA certified instructors. Students receive a two-year AED card from the American Heart Association.
