Healthcare Provider AHA Course

Estero Fire Rescue is a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Community Training Center for the American Heart Association (AHA).

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

While the course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals, anyone may take the course.

Estero Fire Rescue also provides Heartsaver CPR, AED and First Aid classes.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.  Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association.  Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association.
